Restaurant Supervisor

We are looking for a Restaurant Shift Supervisor to oversee front-of-house restaurant operations, including welcoming and serving customers. The supervisor's responsibilities include delegating tasks to restaurant staff, addressing diners’ queries, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. If you have excellent organizational and teamwork skills and experience in the food industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help us create a memorable dining experience for our guests and enhance our brand reputation.
**Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities**
- _**Guide patrons to their seats**_
Supervisors work with the host/hostess to guide patrons to open tables. They must maintain an upbeat and friendly attitude throughout this process.
- _**Assign Waitstaff to Tables**_
Supervisors also work with the FOH team to assign tables to waitstaff in addition to waiting on their own tables.
- _**Place Food and Drink Orders**_
Supervisors take the orders from their tables, communicating with the kitchen to ensure timely completion of those orders with accuracy. They also check that the waitstaff place orders correctly and deliver them to the correct tables.
- **_Train New Waitstaff_**
As a Supervisor, you would train new waitstaff on basic techniques and the specific expectations and procedures at Laari Adda.
- _**Manage Waitstaff**_
This includes managing callouts, coordinating shift covers, and disciplining waitstaff as necessary.
- _**Perform Opening and Closing Duties**_
These include tasks such as making sure the dining area is clean, stations are stocked up for the next service, and opening or closing the registers along with performing cash closing at the end of the service.
**Required Skills**:
Supervisors must be experts in basic food service techniques, such as how to properly carry food trays and dishes and memorize orders. They must thrive in a fast-paced environment, as Laari Adda tends to get very busy.
As a Supervisor, you would have to possess leadership qualities. The position also requires poise—patrons and their team should never see you stressed. In addition, you need the following skills to become a suitable team member:
- Managing customer concerns and complaints about staff and/or food, using conflict resolution skills
- Providing excellent customer service to set a good example for staff
- Keeping staff content with excellent leadership and communication skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
