Restaurant Manager

As a restaurant manager, your duties and responsibilities include:
1 Staff Management: Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, bartenders, and support staff. Ensuring that all employees adhere to the restaurant's policies and procedures, and providing guidance and feedback as needed.
2 Customer Service: Ensuring that customers have a positive dining experience by maintaining high standards of service, addressing customer complaints or issues, and ensuring that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
3 Financial Management: Managing the restaurant's budget, monitoring expenses, and revenue, and ensuring that the restaurant is profitable. This may include creating and implementing pricing strategies, tracking inventory, and managing labor costs.
4 Menu Planning and Ordering: Collaborating with chefs and kitchen staff to develop and update menus, ordering food and supplies, and maintaining inventory levels. Monitoring food quality and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
5 Operational Oversight: Managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and other relevant laws.
6 Marketing and Promotion: Developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers. This may include social media management, advertising, and coordinating special events or promotions.
7 Staff Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for restaurant staff to improve their skills and performance. Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to staff members.
8 Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners. Negotiating contracts and ensuring timely deliveries of goods and services.
9 Administration: Managing administrative tasks such as record-keeping, reporting, and maintaining documentation related to staff, finances, and operations.
10 Crisis Management: Handling emergency situations, such as customer complaints, equipment failures, or other unforeseen events, in a calm and efficient manner.

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
