Restaurant Manager

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including cooks and servers, to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff members as needed to maintain a well-trained team.
- Manage the Point of Sale (POS) system for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports on restaurant performance, including sales figures, labor costs, and customer feedback.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for cash handling and transaction management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers.
