**The Role**:
Document Control Administrator is a technically qualified person who is responsible for the creation of engineering related documentation and the assignment of routings for various manufacturing processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review engineering drawings to create manufacturing process in consultation with operations, check raw material sizes and designation.
- Create Bill of Materials and Routings in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Create Production Orders for the projects.
- Participate in the development of new processes and improvements in existing processes with operations.
- Ensure correct manufacturing processes are documented.
- Ensure all manufacturing aspects of drawings conform to Samco engineering processes related to Microsoft Dynamics AX sub-projects and routings.
- Collaborate with the Project Leader and co-workers to ensure engineering procedures are followed.
- Be courteous and helpful when dealing with customers, suppliers and other members of the Samco team.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- An engineering certificate program or equivalent experience.
- One (1) year of experience working in a capital equipment company or technical environment with manufacturing engineering responsibility. Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an asset (welding, CNC, machining, assembly).
- Experience working within an ERP system. Experience with AX dynamics is an asset.
- Ability to create manufacturing engineering standards on the drawings and create process routings.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Able to correctly specify material designations per engineering procedures.
- Able to accurately enter data with attention to detail.
- Good written, oral and listening skills to convey and receive technical information
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexible with changing priorities and multi-tasking as needed.
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to manage your time and leverage your interpersonal skills to achieve goals and meet commitments.
