We offer a dynamic and team-oriented environment, professional and personal growth, challenges and much more_ Upon notification of pending renovation due to lease renewal, expiry of transfer, and upon notification of pending new store construction, to set in motion a chain of events that commence with the planning stages of Yogen Früz and One Plant stores construction through to completion and turn over to franchisee. , Contract **Please review the tasks related to the position (but not limited to) below**: - Canadian Store Development_ - Obtain Landlord TPF and Landlord Criteria Package to submit with Purchase Order for services to Jump Design - Obtain Jump Design floor plan to review with Operations to ensure systems efficiency and good customer flow, and further review compliance to Yogen Früz and One Plant operating and brand standards - Provide Jump with written approval to proceed to full drawings based on final revised floor plan - Submit drawings to Mechanical Engineer - Review and approve all final revised drawings - Provide drawings to Contractor for quotation of leasehold improvements and specified contractors work, and Sign Contractors for production of Signage Shop Drawings - Submit Signage shop drawings and final revised full drawings to Landlord for approval - Compile and calculate cost of equipment, signage and furniture in Store Summary Sheet - Prepare store summary sheet and submit to Accounting/Purchasing for Purchase Order preparation - Coordinate construction date and schedule between Contractor, Landlord, Signage Contractor and Operations department - Conduct meetings and site visits when necessary - Reconcile all accounting and compile paperwork for submission to Accounting for payment processing and collections - Ancillary: to provide answers to questions posed or required by other internal staff relating to construction leaseholds and equipment; to act as the “go to person” for matters relating to construction - International Store Development:_ - Support and assist master developers on the corporate development of their territories; provide answers to questions regarding: leasehold improvements, materials and finishes, signage specs, equipment packages, etc. - Review and approve floor plans, signage drawings and full working drawings - Advise on architectural and design elements for brand standard compliance and for novelty employment, systems efficiency and customer and operational flow - Streamline a consistent listing of competitive preferred suppliers to provide volume and consequent discounted prices, knowledge and experience to masters and franchisees where possible (i.e. the United States) - Ensure and safeguard brand standards during the roll out of stores worldwide - Manage and control all aspects of store construction and provide cost efficiencies and savings to Franchisees, Masters and Franchiser - Earn additional revenues for franchiser wherever necessary **Liaison Divisions** - Internal - operations, marketing, purchasing, franchise, legal, real estate and president - External - landlords, designers, engineers, suppliers, city and municipal governments and master licensees **Experience required**: - **1-3 years experience in project management**: - **1-3 years of experience working in a Multi-Unit Retail Chain**: - **3-5 years experience in administration (construction and real estate preferred)**: - Ability to manage trades; understanding the costs of material, projects,etc.; value engineer - "handy person" - Quick adaptability to new software - Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities - Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Yogen FrüzCanada Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
