We are currently seeking an experienced **Construction Manager** to join our team. This position may support projects in various Ontario locations, with potential for relocation or regional leadership responsibilities based on business needs.
**Position Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction and restoration projects from planning through to completion.
- Manage and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to meet project deadlines and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including adherence to Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act standards.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and safety.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure design and construction requirements are met.
- Review and approve budgets, purchase orders, and timelines in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Address and resolve on-site issues and delays to minimize disruption.
- Maintain open lines of communication with clients, adjust expectations, and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure proper documentation of project progress including daily logs, change orders, and inspection reports.
- Mentor and support site supervisors and foremen to ensure consistent standards and performance across projects.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in restoration, insurance, or mitigation environments.
- Proven leadership in managing complex residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Current certifications: WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety protocols, codes, and standards applicable in Ontario.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools; experience with Google Drive an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
