**Telecom Construction Project Coordinator**

Reporting to: PMO

**Job description**

CIK's initiative is to provide innovative, inexpensive, and reliable telecommunications and multi-media services to large ethnic communities across Canada. It currently provides service to more than 250,000 customers as of December 31, 2021. Major products include high-speed Internet, FTTB, digital home phones, IP TV, long-distance, and home security services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate fibre construction projects in the Ingersoll region, acting as the central liaison between customers, municipalities, utility partners, and internal teams.
- Support the Construction Manager and site Foremen with project planning, documentation, and execution oversight.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, progress reports, permit tracking, and compliance records.
- Assist in planning and coordinating daily and weekly activities for multiple construction crews, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
- Identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery, proactively communicating risks and changes.
- Provide occasional support in managing yard logistics related to project execution (e.g., confirming material deliveries or coordinating equipment needs).

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- At least 2 years of dedicated project coordination experience in telecom construction, with a focus on fibre optic infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) construction, including both aerial and underground fibre builds.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or crews simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Proficient in project tracking tools, documentation, and reporting.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of adapting to changing project needs and timelines.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
