**Scope of Position**
**What You Need To Be Successful**
- Minimum 3 years of Total Rewards experience, with strong knowledge in compensation
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Knowledge of US and Canadian benefits, and of DC/DB Pension plans an asset.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem solving and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple projects working in a fast paced environment and delivering results.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of tact, discretion, and diplomacy
- Effective communication skills, including excellent written, oral and presentation abilities
- Expert knowledge of Excel and some proficiency in HRIS systems required
- Experience using People Management Software (Ultimate Software) an asset
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform analytical duties in a variety of compensation areas, including internal and external equity differentials, competitive pay practices; recommend policy and/or program changes
- Participate in the development, design, and maintenance of the job evaluation process, including conducting job evaluations and providing recommendations to HR
- Develop and prepare various standard and custom reports as inputs into business decisions
- Administer compensation programs and policies as assigned
- Participate in compensation surveys that support the ongoing development of compensation programs; analyze results, interpret salary data, and develop recommendations to maintain market competitiveness
- Assists with the administration of the annual compensation cycle and long-term incentive plans, including system readiness and reporting
- Provide advice and counsel in Total Rewards to business managers and HR Business Partners
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws
- Be a point of contact for benefits plans for the US and Canada, educating employees and responding to inquiries
- Work closely with the HRIS team and providers to support the Annual Open Enrollment for US benefits including planning, presentations, and communications
- Ensure accuracy of employee and benefit data via audits and system corrections, and partner with payroll to solve any discrepancies
- Gather and analyze benefits data to support various benefit programs, metrics, initiatives, and ad hoc requests
- Work in a collaborative and constructive manner with team and cross functional partners
- Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned
**Reports To**: Manager, Total Rewards
**Location**: This position is being offered to be based in Toronto, and be available to work with a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week in the office.
