**Position Overview**
The Total Rewards Analyst is to support the development, analysis, administration and implementation of RGA's compensation and benefits programs.

**Responsibilities**
- Partner with the Lead, Compensation & Benefits, Canada on key benefit program initiatives for the group benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life & disability), leaves of absence and disability programs.
- Actively participate in benefit plan renewal activity and benefit plan open enrollment with tasks and communications.
- Participate in benefit plan redesign and program reviews
- Support for all benefits-related issues and requests from internal partners - employees, People Managers, finance, and payroll.
- Acts as a point of escalation for sensitive and/or complex benefits questions and acts as intermediary between benefits providers, brokers, and employees as needed.
- Execution of various recurring benefits business processes, surveys, audits, and systems testing, making recommendations for improvements and identifying inefficiencies.
- Schedule and present new hire orientation sessions.
- Research, create and edit quarterly wellness newsletters and monthly manager presentation on mental health.
- Respond to pension plan and GRRSP inquiries from employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.
- Support the disability leave process.
- Support the delivery of total rewards programs including salary administration, job evaluation, annual merit, annual incentive plan and market pricing.
- Help identify opportunities to streamline or automate processes to continuously improve service delivery.
- Support the job evaluation process, including maintain the job description library for all new and updated jobs to be graded, ensuring completeness of documentation.
- Provide research and analysis to support the development of total rewards programs.
- Work with external service providers (job evaluation, group benefits, pension, EAP, etc.) on program delivery (renewals, data requests, invoices, etc.) and to resolve operational issues.
- Assist the global compensation team in various projects and initiatives (20%)
- Provide support to the global mobility team (25%).

**Requirements** Education & Experience**

**Required**:

- University degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3-5 years of related employee benefits experience
- Strong skills in MS office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

**Preferred**:

- Advanced skills in Excel

- Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible given changing priorities.
- Ability to build solid, effective working relationships with others at all levels of organization.
- Strong written and communication skills with an ability to translate benefits-speak so that it is understood by core audiences.
- Strong attention-to-detail.
