Total Rewards Analyst

Do you want to be part of the modernization of LCBO’s Total Rewards Program? Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards Programs, the Total Rewards Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support to the ongoing assessment and optimization of Total Rewards programs at the LCBO including compensation, benefits, and non-cash programs such as recognition to enhance the culture of recognition. You will also be responsible for coordinating activities within the Total Rewards Team to leverage expertise and skillsets of other team members to further the service delivery and business impact of the team.

About the Role
- _ Provide analytical and administrative support to the design, development, execution, and_ administration/monitoring_ of the LCBO’s Total Rewards modernization projects including non-cash programs, compensation and benefits._
- _ Provide support in the development, roll-out, and ongoing delivery and evaluation of new and existing non-cash Total Rewards programs and initiatives, such as service awards, employee discount programs, employee appreciation events, leader recognition resources and the Employee Value Proposition._
- _ Conduct detailed research, analysis, and reporting as it relates to total rewards programs, in collaboration with Total Rewards Specialist (non-cash), Benefits Specialist, Jobs Specialist, and Compensation Specialist._
- _ Support continuous development our Employee Value Proposition by collecting insights from various data sources across the business to help identify and quantify opportunities to improve the employee experience and incorporate employee-centered solutions into business decisions._
- _ Manage the completion and submission of compensation, benefits, and salary planning surveys, including collaborating with Jobs Specialist, Compensation Specialist, Benefits Specialist, and Total Rewards Specialist to secure necessary information_
- _ Support the collection of data, analysis of information, and creation of reports that support the business._
- _ Partner with key stakeholders on reports and KPI business requirement gathering, design and maintenance._
- _ Lead the identification of Total Rewards reporting requirements, quality assurance testing and maintenance of Total Rewards reports, and dashboards to support key business decisions_
- _ Partner with our Tech & Analytics team to design and test reports, dashboards, and analytics._
- _ Support activities related to preparation, calculation and administration of the non-union annual performance-based incentive and merit review process._
- _ Assist in the data-collection and preparation of reports for benefit renewals, implementation, benefit valuation and other benefits-related projects._
- _ Support all employee recognition program operational activities: program administration, award/gift order placement and follow-up activities partnering with AskHR and Tech & Analytics to ensure efficient and timely operational service delivery._

About You
- _ In-depth knowledge of total rewards acquired through a post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field._
- _ 3+ years of experience in an analytical role in HR, preferably within the public sector and in a bargaining unit environment_
- _ Experience in non-cash rewards, compensation and benefits analytics including job evaluation, benefits, and pay equity_
- _ Strong analytic skills with ability to use analytical tools including advanced Excel skills_
- _ Working knowledge of current HRIS systems, preferably Workday_
- _ Understanding of the Pay Equity Act, Employment Standards Act, Protecting the Public Service for Future Generations Act and other related legislation_
- _ Demonstrated strong project management, communication, research, organizational skills, able to analyze large and diverse data set to create recommendations_
- _ Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departmental leaders_
- _ Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills - both oral and written._
- _ Perform with a high degree of accuracy and close attention to detail._
