You Have:

•    Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

•    Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Total Rewards

•    Strong knowledge of compensation theory, job evaluation, pay equity, and total rewards principles

•    Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/reporting tools to analyze and present complex data

•    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with tact, diplomacy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality

•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work

•    Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate issues and recommend effective solutions

•    Strong service orientation and the ability to work collaboratively across HR and with stakeholders

Nice to Have:

•    CHRP/L or CCP designation 

•    Experience in a unionized setting is an asset

What You Will Do:

•    Conduct market analysis and benchmarking of compensation data using internal and external sources

•    Prepare detailed reports, analytics, and insights on compensation and benefits trends and total rewards programs

•    Support budgeting, planning, and organizational decision-making through high-quality data analysis

•    Review and validate compensation data to ensure accuracy, system integration, and data integrity

•    Support collective bargaining preparation, including gathering compensation data, costing proposals, and preparing documentation

•    Participate in total rewards surveys and reviews; maintain accurate and up-to-date data

•    Conduct job evaluations and prepare related reports and documentation

•    Respond to job evaluation and compensation-related inquiries from HR partners

•    Support the annual salary administration process, including data validation, calculations, reporting, and payroll file preparation

•    Generate analytics for off-cycle compensation changes and provide recommendations

•    Maintain accurate and up-to-date materials, intranet content, and communication tools

•    Review and update total rewards policies and procedures to align with legislation and best practices

•    Administer recognition and academic excellence award programs, including evaluation and continuous improvement

•    Provide support for salary structure design, communication, and training related to total rewards

•    Participate in special projects and provide back-up support across the Total Rewards team as required

•    Willingness to travel to head office, field offices and corporate events across Ontario as needed
