Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Reel Coordinator is responsible for receiving material into our warehouse.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and prepare all empty reels within the Mississauga facility. Operating a “reel department” within Receiving
- Manage (RMA) Return Material Authorization for Reel Returns and process according to standards.
- Liaise with Administrative department on all paperwork including processing inventory and discrepancy management.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Check the physical integrity of industrial reels.
- Decal brands on reels (both flanges)
- Manage the scrap process of non-usable reels.
- Reel RMA’s - Responsible for complete RMA Process in receiving including:
- Physically counting all returning reels against quantity on RMA’s - signing off
- Verifying returning reels are NCS/Noramco Property
- Verifying size and condition
- Photographing all RMA Return Discrepancies
- Providing RMA discrepancy correspondence / back-up to salespeople
- Preparing all empty reels into a READY state for the cutting lines by:
- Inspection / confirming structural integrity, minor repairs, painting / labelling;
- Authorizing reels for “ready inventory” at the cutting floor to be used by Production;
- Assist with yard Inventory for Mississauga reels.
- Perform receiving functions
- Act as back-up for Receiver
- Any other duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience managing industrial electrical reels.
- Systems experience - inventory management required
- Clamp truck/Forklift experience required.
- First Aid and WHMIS considered an asset.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
