Our dedication to maintaining these values has elevated our Primegrip and Prime-Lite brand of products from humble beginnings to the forefront of the industry. **Location**: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada **About the Role**: Primeline Tools is growing and we are looking to add a creative and talented social media coordinator to our marketing team. **This is a 1 year contract with the opportunity to move into a permanent role.** The Social Media Coordinator is an integral part of the Marketing team as they are responsible for assisting in the continuous growth of Primeline Tools’ brands. They will be working in a fast-paced and creative work environment with a dynamic team of cross-disciplinary professionals. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for development, implementation and day-to-day execution of ongoing marketing initiatives. These include managing relationships with vendors, invoice processing, budge tracking, new content development, e-newsletter creation and distribution, website updates, social media communications, inventory tracking etc. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for collecting data and generating social media analytics for Marketing reports, conduct Marketing research and assist other departments (sales, ops, customer service, etc.) with development and distribution of materials such as POS signage, sales flyers, media releases and more. **Roles and Responsibilities**: - Create and execute results-driven social media strategies that fit Primeline Tools’ brand guidelines with the goal of driving engagement and growth across all channels. - Participate in strategy and brainstorming discussions. - Write social media and blog copy, and work with stakeholders for approvals. - Develop and curate engaging social media content such as Canva graphics, Instagram stories and reels, captions, product descriptions and blog posts. - Attend events and produce live social media content. - Collaborate with marketing team to create and maintain a social media content marketing calendar including weekly posting schedule across multiple platforms leveraging internal tools to organize and post. - Keep abreast of emerging social media platforms, tools, and technologies on an ongoing basis. - Review comments and community feedback, research trends, best practices and competitor activity and perform active listening in order to improve and optimize campaign results. - Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments. Manage online discussions by listening and responding to users in a timely and on-brand manner. Escalate issues as needed and share feedback and sentiment. - Review social media analytics and create monthly reports on key metrics. - Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy. Find, secure, and manage influencer roster and campaigns. - Promote the generation of user-created content via active community engagement and conversation. - Support the Marketing Manager and VP Sales & Marketing with any other relevant marketing tasks. **Qualifications and Experience**: - College or university education in business, marketing, public relations, communications or equivalent experience - Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Self-directed and result-driven, with demonstrated ability to set and manage objectives. - Excellent people skills with the ability to influence others. Superior communication abilities, both verbal & written. - Good judgement, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team environment. **Additional Preferred Competencies**: - Graphic design degree. - Understanding of construction industry. - Exposure to manufacturing, wholesale/retail and B2B/B2C support processes. **Job Type**: Contract **Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
