**About this Role**

The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager by completing various administrative tasks promptly and accurately, adhering to company policies and internal controls. This role involves managing residential portfolio. Duties should reflect a quality approach toward all employees, customers, subcontractors/general contractors, tenants, managers, and suppliers. All responsibilities must align with the Taggart Realty Management vision and mission and comply with all company policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support daily property operations in collaboration with the Property Manager and Building Operators.
- Communicate with tenants regarding building-related issues and concerns.
- Coordinate and schedule contractor/vendor work and issue purchase orders.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and work orders with accurate coding and approvals.
- Prepare and manage resident correspondence and maintain organized property records.
- Participate in the rental arrears process and manage tenancy changes, including rent adjustments and payment arrangements.
- Assist with lease execution and manage the end-of-tenancy process.
- Update tenant, utility, and parking information in the property management database.
- Administer the monthly Rent Roll and support additional tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Property Management or Office Administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Professional, discreet, and able to work both independently and in a team.
- Yardi experience considered an asset.

**Physical/Sensory Effort and Work Environment**
- Sitting or standing for extended periods at a workstation.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Repetitive work.
- Providing service to multiple people, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
