**Overview**
**Duties**:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in food preparation.
- Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize kitchen workflow and enhance overall restaurant performance.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to ensure availability of ingredients.
- Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation while adhering to established recipes.
- Engage with guests to receive feedback on menu items and make adjustments based on preferences.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control is preferred.
- Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
