**Job Posting: Winter Seasonal Maintenance**

**Employment Period**: November 10, 2025 - March 31, 2026 (with potential extension depending on weather conditions)

**Position Overview**:
The Greater London International Airport Authority is seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team for **Winter Seasonal Maintenance**. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the airport remains safe, operational, and accessible throughout the winter months. Work will take place on both the **airside** and **public side** areas of the airport, with responsibilities focused on snow removal, ice control, and general maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform snow and ice removal on runways, taxiways, aprons, roadways, sidewalks, and parking lots using heavy and light equipment (plows, sweepers, sanders, snow blowers, shovels, etc.)
- Assist with general facility and grounds maintenance tasks
- Conduct pre
- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safe working condition
- Respond promptly to changing weather conditions and operational requirements
- Adhere to airport safety procedures, Transport Canada regulations, and airside operational procedures at all times

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to safely operate maintenance vehicles and equipment in winter conditions
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, shoveling, repetitive motion)
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts during snow events
- Must have a valid DZ driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada security clearances
- Successfully procure an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP) and Radio Telephone Operators Permit within 2 weeks following the start of employment

**Compensation & Schedule**:

- Competitive hourly wage, based on experience
- Potential extension beyond March 31, 2026, depending on operational needs and weather
