We are seeking a skilled **Sidewalk Crew Leader **for the winter snow and ice removal season. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to ensure the efficient and safe removal of snow and ice from various residential and commercial properties. This full-time, on-call position requires a dedicated leader who can work flexible hours depending on weather conditions. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our clients’ properties are clear, safe, and accessible throughout the winter season.

**Requirements**:

- Valid G-class driver’s license
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a small crew
- Moderate knowledge of basic equipment (e.g., snow removal tools)
- Smartphone for logging tasks and communication

**As Crew Lead you will be responsible for the following**:

- Perform daily Circle Checks in accordance with Ministry of Transportation Schedule 1, reporting and defects or needed repair
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and refueled as needed
- Lead, Supervise and delegate tasks to a crew of 2-3 team members
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and ensure maintenance needs are addressed
- Perform site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Report incidents and submit maintenance requests as needed
- Use time tracking app to log hours and maintain accurate service records
- Resolve conflicts within the crew and maintain team morale
- Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and policies, including wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Promote a culture of safety and improvement

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 40 per week
