Richmond Night Market is looking for a creative and energetic **Social Media Content Creator** to join our team for the 2025 season

You’ll be working on-site at the Night Market, capturing the fun, energy, and delicious food through photos, videos, and live content. You’ll also be responsible for posting on our official Facebook and other social media channels, boosting visibility, and engaging with our audience.

Richmond Night Market is an annual night market event held through the summer months in Richmond, British Columbia.

The event runs on weekends and is located near River Rock Casino and the Bridgeport SkyTrain Station.

The **Social Media Content Creator** will have duties (but not limited to) such as:

- Visit Richmond Night Market regularly to take photos and videos
- Create and edit engaging social media content (short videos, reels, stories, posts)
- Appear in front of the camera to promote attractions and conduct vendor interviews
- Manage and monitor our Facebook page and other platforms
- Increase views, reach, and engagement through strategic posting and boosting
- Work with the team to brainstorm content ideas and campaigns
- Stay on top of social media trends to keep content fresh and exciting

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work independently and manage full content creation workflow
- Comfortable operating camera/phone equipment without assistance
- Confident appearing in videos for promotions and interviews
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience creating and editing social media content
- Knowledge of Facebook posting, boosting, and analytics
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Self-motivated, creative, and energetic
- Experience with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Graphic design skills for basic social media posts
- Cantonese or Mandarin language skills (asset)
