Receptionist/administrative Assistant

The Vancouver office of the Augusta Group is looking to hire for an entry-level position as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to start immediately. We are a mining sector-focused management group based in Canada and the United States.
- Multitasking and ability to follow directions;
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team;
- Ability to prioritize tasks;
- Excellent written & verbal communication;
- Superior computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Roles and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following administrative functions:
- Greeting and helping visitors;
- Answering and screening phone calls, taking messages, and re-directing inquiries as needed;
- Ordering office and kitchen supplies;
- Assisting with bank deposits as needed;
- Coordinating website updates;
- Maintaining office equipment;
- Maintaining filing systems for all of the companies, both onsite and offsite;
- Processing & filing documents;
- Sorting and distributing mail;
- Booking couriers & mailing cheques;
- Updating and distributing the internal contact list;
- Assisting with travel arrangements;
- Assisting with corporate event planning;
- Assisting with staff onboarding;
- Completing expense reports for executive management;
- Ordering business cards;
- Organizing and requesting invoice support for corporate credit cards.

**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
