**Position Summary**:
The AP Coordinator will play a vital role by ensuring that both our valued employees and our visiting clients always enjoy a positive experience and feel appreciated. The AP Coordinator will manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment, and provide a front desk presence and administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment; including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system
- Manage vendor relations and build effective partnerships
- Assist team with gathering support for all audits, including pulling documentation
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
- Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
- Assist Accounts Receivable and other accounting, collections, and receiving of incoming payments
- File documents accurately and timely in accordance with filing system
- Maintain records for personnel attendance and collect weekly labour hours for payroll
- Support senior management with data collection, meeting scheduling, and report generation
- Perform additional accounting duties as required
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks
**Skills**:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Excel, MS Dynamics Great Plains, and databases
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage financial records
- Time management and project prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
