**Summary**:
DMC is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in our Vaughan, Ontario Head Office. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible in providing Accounts Payable support to the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze and monitor the general ledger account GR/AR (Goods Receipt/Accounts Received)
- Comprehensive understanding of the three-way match process of reconciling purchase orders to goods receipt and vendor invoices for the amount, units and item description(s)
- Take initiative to research and problem solve the resolution of items in the GR/AR and Accounts Payable accounts that are unresolved
- Provide support to operations and corporate office personnel to promote quality and accuracy within the accounts payable process
- Research outstanding credit balances and coordinate with vendors to resolve
- Coordinate efforts between DMC operational personnel and vendors for timely, accurate payment of invoices
- Review invoices and coordinate the release of payment
- Receive and verify employee expense reports and requests for advances, including processing payments and preparing cheques

**Qualifications**
- Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required
- 2+ years of accounting experience including general ledger & accounts payable experience
- Technically adept with intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word); experience with ERP system is preferred (D365, JD Edwards, etc) or other Microsoft based systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies and work with a high degree of accuracy with mínimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in the work environment
- Ability to follow and understand process and controls
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with internal and external audiences

Mandatory: 3 months in office for training then hybrid 3/2
