Three Seasons Landscape Group Inc. is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented **Bookkeeper**to own the day-to-day financial operations while growing into a strategic leadership role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in the details of bookkeeping but is eager to take on more responsibility—building real-time financial visibility, helping forecast the future, and playing a key role in the financial strategy of a growing company.
**Key Responsibilities**:Daily & Weekly Accounting Operations**
- Enter all financial transactions with speed and precision.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing and collections.
- Process and follow up on customer invoices and vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate vendor and client records.
**Banking & Reconciliations**
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
- Resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy across accounts.
- Support daily cash tracking and reporting.
**Month-End & Periodic Close**
- Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
- Help prepare financial statements and internal reports.
- Maintain organized records to support tax filings, audits, and bonding requirements.
**Support Financial Visibility & Reporting**
- Provide data needed for job costing, project budgeting, and cash flow projections.
- Help track expenses by department, project, and category.
- Coordinate with the Controller to deliver timely insights and real-time financial updates.
**System & Process Improvement**
- Maintain and improve digital recordkeeping systems.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows.
- Uphold best practices in bookkeeping and compliance.
**Project Support**
- Input and track daily, weekly, and monthly project costs against budgeted amounts.
- Work closely with Project Managers to monitor project performance in real time.
- Identify variances, flag issues early, and help PMs manage budgets proactively.
- Generate project-specific reports and summaries to support internal reviews and planning.
- Maintain live budget dashboards that reflect up-to-date financial standing on any job.
**What You Bring To The Team**
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (construction or project-based industry preferred).
- Strong interest in growing into a controller or financial leadership role.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks or equivalent) and Excel.
- Comfortable building budgets, handling reconciliations, and managing both high-level and granular financial tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communicator with a sense of urgency and ownership.
- Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple financial timelines.
