**Primary Fluid Systems Inc.** is an essential, small business located in Mount Hope, Ontario. We manufacture and sell metering pump accessories for use in the water & wastewater treatment industries, as well as oil & gas. Having been in business for over thirty years and with a reputation for selling quality products, we have a consistent customer base world-wide. We sell our products locally and internationally, with regular shipments to the U.S., Australia, and U.A.E.

**Job Summary**:
The **Bookkeeper**is responsible for performing Accounts Receivable tasks and Accounts Payable tasks which include:

- Invoicing and collections on overdue accounts
- Credit card processing
- Maintain financial records through defined bookkeeping policies, procedures, and accepted accounting principles
- Perform banking activities
- May in the future be responsible for payroll
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements
- Preparing and reconcile government remittances
- Processing invoices and payments to vendors, correctly coding invoices to general ledger accounts and maintaining documentation
- Preparation of cheques, bill payments, and wires for payment-runs
- Support of year-end filing and journal entries
- Maintaining financial transaction records by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring legal compliance

A minimum of 5+ years of experience is required as well as a degree or diploma in Accounting or a related field.

- 5+ years accounting experience (A/R & A/P) and a diploma/certificate in accounting
- Experience with accounting software (Sage BusinessVision an asset)

**Job Details**
- Full-Time (37.5 hours a week), the office is open Monday through Friday (No weekends, no overtime requirements) between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
- Office Environment
- Closed over the winter holidays with a short summer break between Canada Day and American Independence Day.
