**Position Summary**:
The Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing and processing all financial transactions related to membership accounts, vendor payments, and club operations. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records and provides support in accounting functions to assist management and the Board of Directors.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Receivable**:

- Set up and maintain member accounts in the Jonas system
- Prepare and issue membership billings
- Process and reconcile bank deposits
- Review, balance, and update daily food & beverage charges
- Process and reconcile pro shop transactions
- Maintain records for deferred and combined minimum food charges
- Generate overdue membership reports and prepare correspondence for follow-ups
- Process billing for reciprocal golf club charges
- Perform month-end adjustments and reconciliations

**Accounts Payable**:

- Establish and maintain vendor accounts in the Jonas system
- Accurately code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts
- Match purchase orders with invoices for payment approval
- Process and schedule vendor payments in a timely manner

**General Accounting Support**:

- Assist the comptroller with various accounting tasks as needed
- Respond to member inquiries regarding account statements and transactions
- Answer phone calls and provide assistance with financial-related questions

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Support managers with additional tasks as assigned

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably in a membership-based or hospitality environment
- Proficiency in accounting software, with experience in Jonas being an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication skills for member and vendor interactions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking for a flexible, part-time position in a dynamic club environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
