Real Estate Development Coordinator

**Position Status**
This is a Permanent Full-time position.
**Scope of the Position**
**Duties, Responsibilities, Authority and Accountabilities**
- Working alongside a Development Manager, providing support on various projects and assignments that may include coordinating permits, drawing reviews, responding to consultants, and preparing memos, presentations, and analyses.
- Collect relevant site information including survey, geotechnical, and environmental.
- Provide support in the preparation of project performances and spreadsheets.
- Collect and provide any information required through the approval process.
- Attend council meetings.
- Coordinate and organize any public meetings required
- Attend all public meetings.
- Assist with the coordination between a development permit and a building permit.
- Assist with consultants as required.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and record minutes to distribute to the project team as well as ensure that the information is organized in the project files for the Team.
- Maintain current knowledge about bylaw changes, development and building regulations, and other government regulations that impact project feasibility.
**Other**
- Perform other duties as required.
**Reporting Responsibilities and Authorities from Supervisor**
- Reports to Vice President Real Estate & Development.
**Position Requirements**
- 2 - 4 years of project coordination experience within a development or construction company environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma, or equivalent experience, in Commerce, marketing, sales, property development, urban planning, or related field.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Real Estate market in Metro Vancouver.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent team player with solid communication skills.
- High levels of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
- Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong people skills and the ability to interact with colleagues and senior management to maintain quality.
- Ability to set and manage priorities to meet deadlines.

- Proficient in MS Office software (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience working with First Nations is an asset.
**Special Requirements**
- Willing to work additional hours as required.
- Able to travel to meet the demands of Nch’kaý.
