**Position Type**: Permanent, Full-Time, On-Site (5 days a week)
InterRent is seeking a full-time, permanent IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Montreal.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills and gain exposure to a wide range of platforms, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. You’ll play a key role in providing responsive, high-quality IT support to team members across all departments.
Success in this role depends on your enthusiasm for learning, ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, and strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
**Your Responsibilities Will Include**:

- Provision desktop/laptop devices and mobile phones (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
- Manage user accounts in an Active Directory environment
- Track and manage inventory of IT assets
- Troubleshoot and service hardware and peripherals
- Set up workstations, printers, and other office IT equipment
- Provide support for low voltage equipment (e.g., Access Control, Intercom systems)
- Support wireless telecom devices, including user support and hardware setup
- Maintain accurate asset records
- Contribute to special projects and other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent in both French and English
- Solid experience with Windows desktop operating systems
- Basic understanding of IP networking
- Experience working with low voltage devices is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience with cloud technologies
- Microsoft or other IT certifications

**Other Requirements**:

- Must have a reliable mode of transportation — off-site travel within the Greater Montreal area is required (mileage reimbursed)
- Standard hours are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Occasional on-call availability may be required
