Billing Coordinator

Carmichael is looking for a Billing Coordinator at our Dartmouth branch. This is a full time and permanent position working on-site.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process work orders, compute fees and charges, and prepare invoices for billing purposes.
- Read, analyze and interpret contracts to properly prepare invoices.
- Compile data from vendor invoices and supporting documents to verify accuracy of billing data and to ensure proper job costing.
- Investigate and resolve information discrepancies prior to executing billing.
- Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners.
- Investigate contracts billing problems while following corporate policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Post Secondary Diploma in Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
- Strong diplomatic, and team building communication skills in order to address problematic billing situation with various internal or external stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of accounting systems and internal controls.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
