**Payroll Specialist**

**Summary**

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for administering the company’s payrolls, and benefits program (Canada, US). You will act as the main point of contact for both employees and external vendors regarding benefits and payroll questions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for full cycle semi-monthly payroll for employees in Canada (multiple sites), Australia and some entities in the US
- Administer group benefits, queries and reports for Canada and some entities in the US (Group Insurance, RRSP, 401K and taxable benefits)
- Process new hires, terminations, salary adjustments and responding to inquiries on benefits
- Establish and maintain employee records, ensure employee changes are entered timely and accurately, review changes for proper authorization and adherence to policy
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to inquiries related to payroll and group benefits in a timely manner
- Process government remittances and statutory and non-statutory deductions for each pay-period (Canada)
- Track employee vacations and Monthly accruals to Finance
- Tracking the hourly employee hours in FDT Pro, time and attendance and maintaining the employee data on FDT Pro
- Prepare and analyse data as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Education**
- DEC in Administration or in Human Resources (or another related field)

**Main Requirements**
- Completion of PCP certification or related payroll courses
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience administering payrolls
- Knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables
- Experience on Nethris or UKG (Kronos) an asset,
- Strong customer service approach
- Capable to execute with pace and a sense of urgency
- Bilingualism (French and English) is a must
