Associate Natural Resources Estimating Director

MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for an Associate Natural Resources Estimating Director in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing and coordinating project estimates while performing detailed cost analysis.
- Collaborating with business development to identify leads, discuss selling points, and develop competitive strategies with vendors and subcontractors.
- Building and maintaining industry relationships and mentoring the estimating team.
- Reviewing bid requests, project documents, and responses to ensure accuracy, address pricing gaps, and meet deadlines.
- Ensuring timely completion of pricing and bid calendars while maintaining resource information.
- Ensuring compliance with requirements and supporting the development of the estimating team.
Requirements:
- Over 7 years of experience in Mining and Natural Resources sectors, with a primary focus on mining projects.
- Expertise in estimating techniques and cost control.
- Proven ability to manage multiple ongoing projects with strong attention to detail.
- Skilled in building relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Experienced in material and labor take-offs and data management in spreadsheets.
