Regional Assistant

Joining one of Canada’s top-ranked insurance companies you will support iA’s Ontario Life Insurance and living benefits sales team. You will play a key role in assisting our sales team in supporting, planning, promoting, and executing on events. You will also provide essential detailed administrative assistance to the RVP and sales team.
Your Day to Day
- Coordinating with the sales team on event planning. Booking venues, creating promotional flyers, registration tracking, detailed follow up, prior, during and post event to ensure top notch experiences
- Arrange, schedule and coordinate meetings & events. Attend some meetings to serve as onsite coordinator, note taker, or technical resource. You will provide additional hosting support at roadshows, seminars, and other meetings to ensure what we have asked for/ordered is being executed
- You will assist in preparing letters, marketing material, email marketing blasts and digital marketing campaigns, both from a design and execution standpoint
- Preparing expense reports and invoices, following up on payments
- Assisting RVP with his expense submission, travel plans and presentation slide preparation
- Get to know our clients (MGA’s, Advisors, Admin Assistants, etc.) and become a key point of contact for them, liase between them and our Head Office/Service Centers
- Admin tasks for special events, such as holiday card design and distribution, etc.
- Ordering and management of our promotional items
- Handling confidential documents and being privy to confidential matters
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree or College diploma
- Project management skills
- Precision, thoroughness, diligence in handling tasks. Careful attention to detail
- Event planning skills
- Strong ability to prioritize work and manage constant change to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as in a group setting
- Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is an asset
