The Regional Manager is accountable for the management and expansion of the campus network within a region in a country and maintaining the education standards set by Spirit of Math Schools.

**Education and Experience**:

- A degree from a recognized university is required. A graduate degree in business or education administration is an asset, but not necessary.
- A minimum of 5 years in a management position, preferably with multiple locations and direct reports.

The Regional Manager will report to the Vice President Campus Operations of Spirit of Math and will have the following accountabilities:

- Students are successful
- Teachers are successful
- Principals and campuses are successful
- Helping Principals open new Spirit of Math campuses within their region
- Identifying potential new sites for Spirit of Math campuses
- Maintaining operational systems for campuses
- Providing advice and support to Principals in the form of training, coaching, marketing, and operations
- Doing ongoing evaluations on the campuses and helping other Regional Manager with evaluations.
- Assisting in yearly conferences and quarterly meetings
- Ensuring the SoM brand is maintained in all aspects of campus operations
- Managing the budget for campus operations and development in their region
- Providing input to the Finance department for forecasting

**The Regional Manager has the following authorities**:

- Hiring, assigning tasks, and evaluating,
- Coaching students, teachers, and principals
- Advising the Marketing department on potential initiatives which could contribute to increased market penetration
- Prescribing additional campus evaluations and training for Principals or directing them to the Standards Department.
- Taking part in training of Principals and Teachers
- Spending allocations for the region’s budget.
- Selecting new sites for campuses.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coaching principals to ensure there is overall campus success. Campus success will be evident in student and teacher success
- Smooth process from start to finish of new locations, including construction and grand opening
- Marketing within territory to hit revenue and profit targets
- Maintaining a regional budget with the support from Finance Department
