Description Summary of This Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results oriented Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join the global Product Marketing team to support one of our key products - Retail Point of Sale (POS). As one of the fastest growing businesses in the company, our point of sale business is primed for growth at scale
In this role you will be instrumental in creating and executing on the go-to-market strategy for a key POS product and be a key driver of revenue growth in 2025 for the business unit targeting small and medium sized businesses globally.
The Product Marketing Manager will collaborate across the business working with product, marketing, commercialization, sales enablement and various other teams in executing product marketing strategies. This role will require a deep understanding of our product, markets, competitors and target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Product Positioning and messaging - develop differentiated positioning and messaging informed by thorough knowledge of the audience, competition and industry. Effectively communicate the value of our product targeted for specific audiences.
- Product Launches - Responsible for orchestrating and leading product launches from crafting messaging, content and initiatives to tracking progress and measuring success
- Go-to-market strategy - lead the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans to drive product adoption and customer engagement
- Sales enablement - Responsible for creating sales enablement materials including and not limited to sales collaterals, demos, sales tools and more to effectively communicate the product capabilities and benefits. Supporting the buyer's journey for our inside and channel sales teams and enabling them to drive success is key to the role.
- Marketing campaigns - work with our revenue and partner marketing teams to support campaign initiatives attracting new customers. Experience working with software applications and in-app marketing experience is preferred.
- Be the voice of the customer - enable internal teams by being the internal voice of the customer.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Relevant Experience or Degree in: Marketing or equivalent field from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Typically a minimum of 8 years - 5+ years of experience with B2B marketing of consumer-facing products, consumer financial services, or digital banking and payments services. At least 5 years of experience in a large (at least 5,000 employees) matrixed organization and a start-up organization
- Master's Degree
- Typically 8+ years - Experience successfully launching and growing products within an eCommerce, FinTech or Paytech business. Demonstrated track record of creating compelling value proposition / narrative. Advanced quantitative and analytical skills with expertise in developing pricing and offers.
- Business, Marketing, Technology or equivalent field from an accredited university or MBA.
- Licensing and/or Certification - Pragmatic Marketing Certification
- Skills / Knowledge - Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Having ownership of a function, account or matrix management responsibilities, uses knowledge to ensure success, strengthen relationships, expand the business, and lead matrix teams on complex projects. Barriers to entry such as technical committee review may exist at this level.
- Job Complexity - Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups, both internal and external.
