Technical Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Client management via working with the Director of Business Development to arrange timely meetings with clients, identify the goals / outcomes / opportunities for each project, and define project details for deployment and field tasks. Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships. Understanding client needs and providing solutions that align with their goals. Clearly outlining the site objectives, defining relevant technology applicable to the scope of work, and preparing and gaining sign-off on cost proposal and scope changes. Ensuring the cost framework for the technology for each project is updated as needed through the process. Developing and following efficient processes and workflows to enhance project delivery. Reviewing, editing, and delivering project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Providing technical training to clients and consultants, building out guides and tutorials – owning the materials that support the consultants. Ensuring client satisfaction through regular meetings, communication, and follow-ups.

Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental and/or project management required. Proven experience in a client-facing role with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements. Sales experience and a track record of achieving targets is highly desirable. Practical field experience in deployment of new technology. Ability to provide technical training and design technical training content. Working knowledge in the application of AI technologies to provide customer value. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Personal Competencies:

Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment – a professional, confident, questioning, proactive, resourceful individual with the demeanor, business maturity, intellect, and integrity required to establish trust and credibility with others. Enjoys variety with the ability to adapt and relate within multiple situations and environments. Problem solver with solid critical thinking skills required to offer creative, innovative, and pragmatic solutions to business challenges and ambiguous situations. Preference will be given to candidates in Calgary, with openness to candidates across Western Canada.
