**Technical Account Manager - Calgary, AB**

As a **Technical Account Manager**, you will share in our passion to lead and drive change within the mining exploration industry. You will be an important contributor to strategic sales activities, building our pipeline and closing deals while actively promoting Krux and providing technical product demonstrations across various regions. In this role you will also be responsible for articulating the business value of Krux to both business and technical users.

**What You Will Do**
**Business Development**: Contribute to our current business development strategy and revenue goals by increasing our subscriber base and bringing in new customer accounts.
**Customer Growth**:Identify opportunities within existing accounts for growth and build relationships with customers to ensure they are optimising their operations with Krux.
**Represent Krux**: Represent us as a technical leader in real-time data solutions for drilling operations through technical sessions at tradeshows, webinars, blog posts and/or technical documentation on our software solutions.
**Build Relationships**: Seek integration and collaboration opportunities with strategic partners, in line with our customer’s needs and company vision. Work closely and collaboratively with our Imdex colleagues.
**Market Awareness**: Keep a pulse on the market as to how we can continue to innovate and solve customer pain points. Work closely with our product team to contribute to the product roadmap.
**Marketing & Lead Generation**: Work with marketing to ensure the Krux product positioning and messaging resonates with the current market.
**Team Collaboration**: We work as a global sales team. Collaborate often with global sales and technical team members on opportunities and client accounts. Document interactions in the CRM and ensure that pipeline deals are kept current.

- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills; a knack for delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
- You are a problem solver: you have a consultative approach to solving your customer’s business challenges.
- An aptitude to easily learn software functionality, through both in-house training and self-learning.
**What You Bring**
- Preference for a bachelor's degree in commerce, Engineering, or Geology or relevant industry experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- 5+ years of experience with SaaS sales and/or relevant experience within the mining/drilling industry.
- Previous experience with surface and underground exploration drill programs and contractors considered an asset.
- Ability to work well independently and manage workload in a dynamic agile startup environment.
- Intermediate to Expert Level experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English
**Travel Requirements**: 30% Travel expected, possibly overseas
