Reservations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join our team at BUTTAR & SONS INC. O/A COMFORT INN ST CATHARINES. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of our staff, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of 3-4 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service and hotel operations.
- Perform tasks similar to those of the workers supervised, staying up-to-date with hotel policies and procedures.
- Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient hotel operations and excellent guest experiences.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging repair work as needed to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to hotel operations.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large workload.
- Physical capabilities to perform the duties of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting light objects.
- Criminal record check required.
- 37.5-44 hours per week.
- English language required.
