We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Snowmaking Manager at Whistler Blackcomb. This position requires a strong background in on-mountain operations, supervisory experience, and a valid driver's license.

As a member of the Mountain Operations team, you will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to a team of snowmakers, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of snowmaking equipment year-round.

This role involves a large focus on the maintenance and planning areas of the business, including capital projects and budgeting. You will also be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of snowmakers, as well as problem-solving various issues that may arise.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the snowmaking team and oversee snowmaking operations
  • Maintain and plan snowmaking infrastructure, including capital projects and budgeting
  • Ensure compliance with operating policies and regulatory expectations
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving snowmaking efficiency and safety
