About the location:

The Commercial Director is a key member of the Hotel's executive leadership team, directing and overseeing all sales and commercial activities, supported by teams including Sales, Catering, Conference Services, Public Relations, Marketing Communications, and Revenue Management.

The Commercial Director will develop the local Hotel brand and narrative, ensuring effective communication strategies and tactics are executed with key stakeholders, including Ownership, the Hotel team, and Corporate Office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement programs to positively impact Rev Par performance
  • Manage the Hotel's Yield Program
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans
  • Solicit and service selected accounts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Director/Director of Marketing or similar, with a proven track record in sales and marketing
  • Strong revenue and budget management skills, creative flair for marketing, good communication and interpersonal skills, and effective leadership abilities
  • 4-year university or college degree or equivalent experience
