About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Clinical Counsellor to join our team at pt Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing assessment, consultation, and psycho-educational services to clients with a variety of psychological and physical diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation and education to clients, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in regular team conferences and contribute to the development of treatment plans and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including healthcare providers and employers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and best practices within the organization.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology.
  • 2+ years of experience in a return-to-work or physical rehabilitation setting.
  • Professional registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and services.
