Forklift Mechanic Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at VP LIFT TRUCK SERVICES INC. as a key member of our maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate repair costs and provide accurate quotes to customers
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service on industrial trucks and forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment, providing expert recommendations for future maintenance
- Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts, ensuring high-quality results
- Test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and safety standards
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads, requiring physical stamina and endurance
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
