Forklift Mechanic Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at VP LIFT TRUCK SERVICES INC. as a key member of our maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate repair costs and provide accurate quotes to customers.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service on industrial trucks and forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment, providing expert recommendations for future maintenance and repairs.
- Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and functionality.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads as part of the job requirements.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina.
- Ability to work accurately, with a focus on client satisfaction and organizational skills.
- Strong team player with excellent judgement and reliability.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
