About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at Insta-Lift. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and service on forklifts and other industrial trucks to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts.
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and safety standards.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in forklift maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
