We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as an Executive Director, Transportation Operations at 14793218 Canada Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our trucking company, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Establish and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives.
- Resource Management: Allocate human, financial, and material resources to support operational excellence.
- Leadership Development: Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to drive business success.
- Financial Management: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Communication: Foster excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in the trucking industry or a related field is an asset.
- Work Environment: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
