About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our transportation operations at Hanjra Transportation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our trucking company and ensuring the successful execution of our business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve business objectives.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to support the growth and success of our company.
  • Leadership and Management: Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to lead our teams and drive results.
  • Communication and Representation: Represent Hanjra Transportation in negotiations and other official functions, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls, and ensure the efficient operation of our transportation network.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience in transportation operations, logistics, or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
