Executive Director, Transportation Operations

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Transportation Operations team at Mighty Freight System Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our trucking company.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and efficiency
- Lead and manage a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of tasks and projects
- Financial Management
- Establish and manage budgets for transportation operations, ensuring financial controls and administrative processes are in place
- Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to drive business growth and revenue
- Operational Excellence
- Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless execution of transportation operations
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or transportation management
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role in the transportation industry
- Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
This is a full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
