Executive Director, Transportation Operations

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Transportation Operations team at Affordable Transport Management Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our trucking company, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth operation of our transportation network, including the management of routes, schedules, and logistics.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and maintenance teams, as well as external partners and suppliers.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or transportation management.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a leadership role within the transportation industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Access, and Outlook.
