Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at OLE HIBACHI RESTAURANT. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain our standards.
  • Collaborate with our management team to plan and execute special events and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent standing and walking.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication in the kitchen.
Work Schedule:
  • 32 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
