Position Overview

The Cleaning Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleaning staff and ensuring that all facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards. This role involves managing various aspects of cleaning operations within the organization.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and train cleaning personnel or arrange for their training
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff
  • Conduct inspections of sites or facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Assist cleaning staff in their duties as needed
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure efficiency
  • Establish work schedules for cleaning staff
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Provide basic information regarding facilities to clients
