Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to provide top-notch technical support to our clients. As a Deskside Support specialist, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer hardware and software, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related tasks.
  • Handle software installation, support, and upgrades.
  • Provide deskside support services, including installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Offer 1st level Help Desk support.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking-related activities.
  • Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance.
  • Respond to, update, and close calls from the National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
  • Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish E.T.A., and parts requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related activities.
  • At least 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • A+ certification.
  • May have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules.
  • Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
