Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented individual to provide top-notch technical support to our clients. As a Deskside Support specialist, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer hardware and software, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related tasks.
- Handle software installation, support, and upgrades.
- Provide deskside support services, including installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Offer 1st level Help Desk support.
- Perform basic LAN and internetworking-related activities.
- Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance.
- Respond to, update, and close calls from the National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
- Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish E.T.A., and parts requirements.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related activities.
- At least 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
- Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
- A+ certification.
- May have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work flexible schedules.
- Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
