Job Summary:

PeopleToGo is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for performing intermediate IMAC activities, handling software installation and support, and providing first-level Help Desk support.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related activities.
  • Handle software installation and support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Provide first-level Help Desk support, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking-related activities, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish ETA, and parts requirements.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of field service experience performing hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related activities.
  • 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • A+ certification.
  • May have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Available to work flexible work schedules.
  • Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
