Restaurant Operations Manager

Heritage Indian Cuisine Nanaimo is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Service Delivery: Ensure prompt and courteous service to all customers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Food Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of food quality and safety, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance with food handling and preparation procedures.
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth, including promotions, events, and social media engagement.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and attention to detail required.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Accurate: Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Client Focus: Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
